Main Venues Are Booked

Most of the planning is done. The main venues are booked and secured by deposit. They are Shea's American Bar & Grill for Friday night, Manchester Country Club for Saturday night, and Elicit Brewing for Sunday afternoon/evening.

We have yet to wrap up a few of the supporting events. They are:

1. Saturday morning breakfast at the high school.
2. Saturday Case Mountain Hike.
3. Saturday Pool Tournament. This location may have closed.
4. Sunday morning golf.
5. Sunday morning general interest event. Last time we had the mini Vietnam War Memorial on tour in Manchester. Not this time. Perhaps we can do something similar along the lines of showing respect to those who serve or served.
6. Sunday early afternoon Manchester HIstorical Society. They have not released their calendar for the fall programming as yet.
7. Football. Some would like to attend an MHS football game. The athletic schedule does not get published until later this summer. Often the games are on Friday night and they might not be playing at home.

We will be concluding our weekend with a bike ride from Manchester to Bolton Notch and back on Monday morning. Last time we followed that up with lunch at Shady Glen.

Class Database And Mailing

We are working over our contact database in advance of doing a mailing to those for whom this is our only contact information. We encourage all to connect to the class by either of the two internet based options. That is by email or the class Facebook page. We prefer not to send out information by mail.

We will be sending out an email blast shortly. We will take note of which emails bounce and try to correct that with upated information.

We are updating our information on hotel recommendations. Stay tuned as there's been changes. Stay away from the hotel we used last time

Shea's American Bar and Grill

This year we will be using both the upstairs and downstairs at Shea's. We hope this will help to accommodate those averse to climbing stairs.
